Audio
The audio quality of Freecom 2 is excellent, thanks to the HD stereo earbuds, and AGC technology automatically adjusts the volume based on air rustle and external noise.
However, as with any intercom, it is good to keep in mind that it will affect quite a bit the type and level of the soundproofing of your helmet at speeds below 90km/h, the audio quality of the intercom is excellent.
You should also know that music and navigator are on two parallel channels, which means you can listen to music and navigator simultaneously (of course, during GPS guide voice communications, the music volume will be slightly lowered).

To whom it is addressed
Considering its features, the Cardo Scala Rider Freecom 2 is ideal for those who want to communicate only with their passenger.
Given its long battery life (over 13h), it is ideal for both urban use and long trips but is still quite limiting if you travel in large groups.
In the latter case, we recommend you opt for one of the older siblings Freecom 4 and SmartPack.
